Zetaris Demo Challenge: Official Rules
Overview
-
The Zetaris Demo Challenge (the "Challenge") rewards Open Agent Hackathon 2026 builders who show, in a short video, how they used Zetaris in their build. The prize pool is $10,000 [USD], shared across three winners.
- Promoter: [Zetaris legal entity name, ABN/company number and registered address] ("Zetaris", "we", "us")
- Entry period: opens 29 October 2026 and closes Tue 2 Nov, 23:45 UTC (the "Entry Period"). Entries received after the Entry Period closes will not be judged.
- Type of competition: a game of skill. Chance plays no part in choosing the winners.
The Challenge is separate from the Open Agent Hackathon 2026. Entering, or not entering, has no effect on hackathon judging or results.
By entering, you agree to these rules.
2. Who can enter
To enter, you must:
- be registered for the Open Agent Hackathon 2026
- be at least [18] years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher
- not live in a country or region where this Challenge is prohibited or restricted by law
You can enter as an individual or as a team. A team nominates one member to submit the entry and receive any prize on the team's behalf. That member must have every team member's consent to enter.
Each individual or team may submit [one] entry. [Confirm: can someone who was on a hackathon team also enter alone?]
Employees of Zetaris, [SpaceXSI and GenAI Works], their immediate families, and anyone involved in running or judging the Challenge cannot enter.
3. How to enter
- Record a demo video of a build that uses Zetaris, with Zetaris shown working live. You may use the build you made for the Open Agent Hackathon 2026.
- Include a 40–60 second segment in which you or your team explain, on camera or in voiceover, why you thought Zetaris was amazing: the moment it clicked, what surprised you, or what it let you do. Entries without this segment will not be judged.
- Answer one question in your write-up: "In one sentence, why did you think it was amazing?"
- Name your file TEAM-NAME_DDMMYY, using the date you submit. For example: ORBIT-LABS_281026.
- Upload your entry before the Entry Period closes: Submit your video

We are not responsible for entries that are late, lost, corrupted or incomplete, or that fail to upload.
4. Judging
A panel of judges will score every eligible entry out of 100 points against the criteria below.
Criterion
Points
What judges look for
Meaningful use of Zetaris
25
Zetaris is central to the solution, not a cameo, and is shown working live in the demo.
How it helped you
15
You explain in your own words what impressed you. Specific, genuine moments (what surprised you, what it let you do that wasn't possible before, time saved) score higher than general praise.
Problem and impact
15
A clear, real-world problem with credible value for a business or user.
Technical execution
15
The build actually works. Judges reward depth and quality.
Working with SpaceXSI
15
Zetaris is combined well with SpaceXSI's coding agents.
Creativity and originality
10
A fresh idea or an unexpected use case.
Video quality and storytelling
5
A clear narrative that is easy to follow and shareable.
If two or more entries tie for a prize position, the entry with the higher score for "Meaningful use of Zetaris" ranks higher. If they are still tied, the judges will decide by majority vote.
The judges' decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
